Check the Individual Garment and Hazard

Flame-retardant clothing is not interchangeable across every task. Check each product for its stated standard, fabric construction, any stated heat or arc rating, whether performance is inherent or treatment-based where specified, closures, layers, laundering limits and compatibility with other required PPE.

Keep the approved garment code, colour, size and product specification for replacement orders. Substituting a visually similar garment may not provide the same stated protection.

Embroidery on Flame-Retardant Workwear

Decoration must be assessed against the garment specification and site requirements. Embroidery may suit approved flat panels where thread, backing, needle penetration and placement do not compromise the required protective design, with a minimum charge equivalent to 10 logos. DTF and other heat-applied decoration are unsuitable for FR or melt-risk garments.
