Responsible Business at PlusEmbroidery

People, partners and practical choices

Responsible Business at PlusEmbroidery

We believe responsible business is built through everyday choices: supporting our Australian team, working with established industry suppliers, making thoughtful use of materials and providing clear product information. These principles guide how PlusEmbroidery operates and where we continue to improve.

Reuse where practical

We reuse suitable supplier cartons for customer orders rather than automatically choosing new boxes.

Pack with purpose

We consider garment protection, order size and packaging needs when preparing deliveries.

Australian operations

Our team, customer service, embroidery, garment decoration and quality checks are based in Australia.

Established suppliers

We work with established industry suppliers across apparel, decoration materials and business operations.

What responsible business means to us

PlusEmbroidery is an Australian business supplying blank and decorated apparel, workwear and uniforms nationwide. Our operations are based in Australia, from customer service and artwork preparation to embroidery, garment decoration, quality checks and dispatch.

We work with established industry suppliers, including garment and workwear brands, embroidery and print-material providers, packaging suppliers and other specialist businesses that support our operations. This allows us to draw on industry expertise while remaining directly responsible for the service and work we deliver to customers.

We source garments from suppliers as orders are placed, and make our own decisions about how orders are prepared, decorated, checked and dispatched. Our approach is to communicate these practices clearly and keep improving them where practical.

Giving packaging another workday

Many of our orders arrive from suppliers in cartons that are still suitable for another journey. Where a carton is clean, strong and appropriate for the order, we give it another use by packing a customer delivery in it.

We choose packaging to suit the garments and the protection required during transport. When a reused carton is not the right fit, we select another suitable packaging option.

“This box gets another workday.” It reflects a simple operational habit: make useful packaging work again where it can.

Thoughtful packing and waste reduction

We look for sensible ways to reduce unnecessary handling and packaging in our day-to-day work, while making sure every order is packed securely and presented appropriately.

  • Reuse serviceable supplier cartons when they are suitable for dispatch.
  • Choose packaging that fits the order while protecting garments in transit.
  • Consider opportunities to reuse or appropriately separate packaging materials in our operations.
  • Review packaging options when a change offers a credible operational or environmental benefit.

Packaging materials vary according to the order and delivery method. We continue to assess options for reuse, material reduction and suitable recycling wherever practical.

Australian operations and our team

Every part of PlusEmbroidery’s own operations is based in Australia. Our team handles customer enquiries, artwork preparation, logo approvals, embroidery, garment decoration, finishing, quality assurance and dispatch locally.

Our embroidery is completed in-house. For DTF decoration, we produce transfers in-house and also work with a specialist Sydney-based print partner when additional transfer-printing capacity is needed. Our team applies the transfers to garments using our own heat presses and completes the finishing and quality checks here in Australia.

We value the skills and experience of the people behind our service. We support our team through fair working conditions and remuneration above applicable award minimums.

The garments we supply come from established apparel brands, with manufacturing locations varying by product. We can help customers locate product-specific origin information where it is provided by the supplier.

Supporting Australian business

Being an Australian business also means investing in the people, skills and services that keep our operations running locally. From advising customers and preparing artwork to embroidery, transfer application, finishing and dispatch, our day-to-day work is carried out in Australia.

Where it suits our production needs, we also work with Australian specialist businesses. For example, our Sydney-based DTF printing partner helps us manage additional transfer-printing demand, while our own team remains responsible for applying those transfers, finishing garments and checking the completed work.

We value long-term relationships with reliable industry suppliers, whether they provide garments, machinery, threads, print materials, packaging or professional services. Those suppliers may operate in Australia or overseas, and the origin of individual products varies. Our commitment is to operate our own business locally and choose capable partners who help us deliver dependable service to customers across Australia.

Established industry suppliers and responsible sourcing

Our supplier relationships span established apparel and workwear brands as well as specialist providers of embroidery, printing and other materials used in our business. We look for dependable suppliers with suitable products, consistent service and the industry knowledge to support our customers.

Many garment brands provide information about their sourcing policies, factory standards, labour practices, environmental programs and product certifications. These initiatives vary by supplier and, in some cases, by product range. We believe the most useful approach is to refer to the specific documentation relevant to the garments being considered.

If your organisation has ethical sourcing, certification, country-of-origin or other procurement criteria, we can help identify available information from the relevant brand or supplier so you can assess it against your requirements.

Ethical practices and supply-chain transparency

Respect for people and safe, fair working conditions are important throughout the supply chain. In our Australian operations, we focus on fair employment practices and working with established industry suppliers.

Garment production is managed by individual brands and their manufacturing partners. Where suppliers publish Modern Slavery statements, responsible-sourcing commitments or independent certifications, these provide useful information about the supplier’s stated policies and their applicable scope.

We welcome enquiries from businesses with ethical procurement or compliance requirements and can help identify available supplier documentation for the brands or products being considered.

Continuing to improve

Responsible business is an ongoing process. As products, packaging options, supplier information and operating practices evolve, we look for practical ways to improve how we work.

Our priority is to make achievable improvements, share clear information and help customers make purchasing decisions that reflect their own needs and values.

Frequently asked questions

Are PlusEmbroidery garments made in Australia?

Our business operations, embroidery, garment decoration and quality assurance are based in Australia. We source garments from established suppliers, and garment manufacturing locations vary by brand and product.

Is your decoration work completed in Australia?

Yes. We embroider garments locally and complete DTF transfer application, finishing and quality checks in Australia. DTF transfers may be printed by our team or by a specialist Sydney-based partner when extra capacity is needed.

Why might my order arrive in a reused carton?

We reuse suitable supplier cartons for dispatch where they provide appropriate protection. This avoids replacing a serviceable box simply for presentation.

We reuse suitable cartons where practical and select packaging that protects each order. Material types vary, and recycling options depend on the packaging and local collection services.

How can I check a garment’s ethical sourcing credentials?

Many of our established garment suppliers publish information about responsible sourcing, labour standards or certifications. The details and coverage vary by brand and product. We can help direct you to relevant supplier documentation where available.

Can you provide information for our organisation’s procurement requirements?
