JB's 350g Hi Vis Trade Hoodie 6CHVH
Not every hi-vis hoodie needs reflective tape. The JB's Wear 6CHVH is built for day-only crews who want a heavier winter layer, practical storage and a cleaner front for branding. At 350gsm, it sits above a standard fleecy hoodie without moving into bulky jacket territory.
Landscape contractors, council maintenance crews and equipment-hire yards often start work in the cold but do not need a taped garment for the job at hand. This hoodie gives them a familiar pull-over layer with enough weight for early starts, plus pockets for pens, keys and small workday essentials. Keeping one straightforward style in the uniform also makes winter replacements and new-starter orders easier to manage.
With no reflective tape running across the body, there is a clearer area for a left-chest business logo than on a day/night hoodie. The front hand-warmer pocket, side utility pockets and sleeve pocket still need to be considered, so PlusEmbroidery can position embroidery where it reads cleanly and does not interfere with the working features or the garment's high-visibility area.
Made from 80% polyester and 20% cotton at 350gsm. It has a front hand-warmer pocket, utility side pockets with pen inserts and hook-and-loop closures, a sleeve pocket with flap closure and pen insert, plus ribbed cuffs and hem.
JB's Wear lists the 6CHVH as compliant with AS/NZS 1906.4:2023 and AS 4602.1:2024 for Day Only use, together with AS 4399:2020 for UPF protection. Both colourways are listed as UPF 50+. Check the garment details and your workplace requirements before including it in a safety uniform.
