JB's 350g Hi Vis (D+N) Trade Hoodie 6DNVH
Some winter hoodies feel right at pre-start and too much by mid-morning. The JB's Wear 6DNVH is a more measured option: 350gsm fleece for cold starts, a familiar pull-over shape for everyday site wear and reflective tape for Day & Night work, without stepping up to the extra weight of a 450gsm style.
Freight-yard crews, line-marking teams and mobile maintenance staff often spend one part of a shift standing in the cold and the next moving gear or climbing in and out of a cab. This is the sort of hoodie that can stay in use when the pace picks up instead of being left in the vehicle. It also gives uniform managers a sensible middle-weight standard that can be issued again for new starters and replacement garments.
Order it plain, or keep the branding simple. Reflective tape crosses the body and sleeves, while the hand-warmer and utility pockets break up the lower front, so a compact chest embroidery usually makes more sense than a large front design. Made from 80% polyester and 20% cotton fleece at 350gsm in a classic fit. It has a front hand-warmer pocket, utility side pockets with pen inserts and hook-and-loop closures, a sleeve pocket with flap closure and pen insert, reflective tape on the body and sleeves, and ribbed cuffs and hem.
JB's Wear lists the 6DNVH as compliant with AS/NZS 1906.4:2023 and AS 4602.1:2024 Day & Night Level 1, together with AS 4399:2020 for UPF protection. Both colourways are listed as UPF 50+. Check the garment details and the requirements of the site before including it in a safety uniform.
