JB's FR PPE2 Biomotion Cargo Pant 6MFRP

The JB's Wear 6MFRP is not a general work pant with extra tape added. It is an inherent flame-resistant cargo pant for crews working around arc-flash, heat and flame hazards, with segmented biomotion tape placed at the knees and ankles to support visibility when the wearer is moving.

For electrical, utilities and industrial maintenance teams, the real value is consistency within a controlled protective-clothing system. The pant combines practical cargo storage with a regular-waist fit that can be issued across a crew, replaced like-for-like and matched back to the correct torso garment without changing the protection approach every time someone joins or a worn pair is retired.

Branding on FR garments needs more care than standard workwear. PlusEmbroidery can help assess whether embroidery is appropriate, where it should sit and what materials are suitable, but decoration must not compromise the garment's flame-resistant performance or the wider PPE system. Ordinary heat-applied decoration should not be assumed suitable.

Made from an inherent FR blend of Lenzing cellulosic fibre, modacrylic, aramid and anti-static twill ripstop at 220gsm. Practical storage includes two cargo pockets with flap and FR hook-and-pile closure, a pen insert on the left leg and two covered hip pockets. Segmented FR reflective tape is positioned at the knees and ankles to create a biomotion effect.

JB's Wear lists the 6MFRP as compliant with AS 4399:2020 for UPF protection and AS 4602.1:2024 N-E Level 3 when worn with a Level 3 torso garment. It is also listed as tested to ISO EN 11612:2015 A1, A2, B1, C1, certified to EN 1149-3:2018, tested to IEC 61482-1-1:2018 with ATPV 13 cal/cm² PPE 2, and certified to NFPA 2112 UL. Protective clothing must be selected as a complete system against the hazards and requirements of the specific workplace.

It comes in Navy, with regular-waist sizing from 77R to 112R.
