Waterproof, water-resistant and shower-resistant are not interchangeable terms. Check each vest for its stated protection, seam construction, membrane or coating, collar, zip coverage, hem adjustment, lining, pockets, layering room and laundering instructions.

Allow enough room for the intended shirt, polo or fleece underneath without making the vest excessively loose. Keep the approved product code, colour and size allocation for replacement orders.

Decoration on Weather-Protection Vests

Decoration can affect coatings, membranes and seam performance. Embroidery may suit accessible chest or back panels where needle penetration will not compromise the required protection, with a minimum charge equivalent to 10 logos. DTF printing can suit full-colour artwork only on compatible non-FR, non-melt-risk fabrics, with a minimum charge equivalent to 5 logos and vector EPS or AI artwork required. Heat-sensitive coatings, sealed seams, linings and waterproof membranes may make some positions unsuitable.
